Sell Old MacBooks: Air and Pro, Intel and Apple Silicon.

MacBook buyback for companies and individuals. Apple silicon Macs are in steady demand, but only once Activation Lock and management locks are released.

The short answer

PrivAce Technologies buys used MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops, both Apple silicon (M1 onward) and Intel. Value depends on the chip, memory, storage, condition and, above all, lock status. A Mac with Activation Lock still on cannot be reused, so it sells for parts only.

No minimum quantity. Payment before pickup. Data destroyed before resale, with a certificate.

Identify your model

How to identify a MacBook.

On a working Mac, open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac. It shows the chip, memory and the year. The serial number is there too, and on the underside of the case.

Memory and storage are fixed on Apple silicon Macs, so the configuration you bought is the configuration we price.

Apple announced at WWDC 2025 that macOS 26 Tahoe would be the last major macOS release for Intel-based Macs. We still buy Intel MacBooks.
