PrivAce Technologies buys used Acer laptops: TravelMate and Extensa business models, Aspire and Swift consumer models, Nitro and Predator gaming laptops, and Acer Chromebooks from schools. Each unit is inspected and quoted individually, the agreed amount is paid before pickup, and every drive is wiped or destroyed with a certificate.
No minimum quantity. Payment before pickup. Data destroyed before resale, with a certificate.
| Family | Built for | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| TravelMate P series | Business fleets | TravelMate P2 (TMP214, TMP215), P4, P6 |
| Extensa | Entry business and small offices | Extensa 15 (EX215 series) |
| Aspire | Consumer and small office | Aspire 3 (A315), Aspire 5 (A515), Aspire 7 (A715) |
| Swift | Thin and light | Swift 3 (SF314), Swift Go, Swift X |
| Nitro and Predator | Gaming and design work | Nitro 5 (AN515), Predator Helios 300 (PH315) |
| Chromebook | Schools and education | Chromebook 314, Chromebook Spin 511 |
Acer prints a short model code on the label under the laptop. The letters are the family and the first digits give the series and screen size. A515 is an Aspire 5 with a 15.6 inch screen; SF314 is a Swift 3 with a 14 inch screen; AN515 is a Nitro 5; TMP214 is a TravelMate P2 with a 14 inch screen.
The number after the dash, such as the 57 in A515-57, identifies the platform, so two laptops sold under the same name can have very different processors.
The same label carries the serial number and the SNID, which Acer’s support site uses to identify the exact configuration. A list of serials or SNIDs lets us confirm configurations before the inspection.
Chromebooks from schools must be deprovisioned in the Google Admin console before they leave. A Chromebook that is still enrolled will lock the next user out.
Equipment is inspected before the quotation. These are the things that matter most.
