Office Closure and Relocation IT Disposal, On Your Deadline.
When an office closes or moves, everything with a plug has to go by a fixed date. We clear it in one visit, destroy the data first and leave you the paperwork for the exit file.
Office closure IT disposal is the clearing of all IT and electronic equipment from an office that is shutting or moving: laptops, desktops, servers, printers, network gear, CCTV recorders, phones and UPS units. The risk is data on devices nobody listed. PrivAce plans the clearance to your handover date, destroys data first, pays for what has value before pickup and issues the manifest and certificates.
What we see most often.
The deadline drives everything. The landlord handover date is fixed, so the clearance has to be planned backwards from it, including gate passes and lift bookings.
Data hides in odd places. Printers and copiers with hard drives, CCTV recorders, biometric attendance devices and old servers in a cupboard all hold data and are easy to miss.
Mixed equipment, one exit. Furniture contractors and scrap buyers will take electronics without any record. That is the gap an auditor finds later.
The plan, step by step.
- Walk-through. A free assessment of everything with a plug, including the rooms nobody uses.
- Plan to your date. Pickup slot, gate pass, lift booking and packing, worked back from the handover date.
- Quotation and payment. An itemised quotation, then payment before pickup for equipment with resale value.
- One clearance. We bring packing material and clear the site under a Form 6 manifest.
- Data destroyed, then documents. Onsite if your policy requires it, otherwise at the facility, followed by the certificates.
Documents and outcomes.
- A clearance planned to your handover date
- Payment before pickup for usable equipment
- Form 6 manifest signed on the day
- Erasure reports or a Certificate of Destruction
- Certificate of E-Waste Recycling within 7 working days
- Batteries and UPS units handled separately
Questions, answered.
About a week is comfortable. Pickup follows within 1 to 3 working days of the agreed price, so tell us your handover date when you first get in touch.
Yes. Devices that store data, like printers with drives and CCTV recorders, are treated as data-bearing. UPS batteries are kept apart and handled under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022.
Yes. We bring packing material and work with your building management on the gate pass and service lift.
The Form 6 manifest from the day of the clearance, the erasure reports or Certificate of Destruction, and the Certificate of E-Waste Recycling. Together they show what left, what happened to the data and where the e-waste went.
