Business E-Waste Collection · Mumbai

Corporate E-Waste Pickup. Free, Scheduled, Documented.

Bulk collection of office electronics from businesses across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune — at no cost, with the paperwork included.

The short answer

Corporate e-waste pickup is scheduled bulk collection of end-of-life office electronics from a business premises, routed to an authorized recycler. PrivAce provides it free across Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune — pickup, packing and transport at no cost, certified data destruction on anything holding storage media, and full disposal documentation.

Minimum five units. No maximum. Working, non-working and mixed condition all accepted.

What we collect

Computing: laptops, desktops, all-in-ones, thin clients, workstations, tablets, monitors.

Server and network: servers, storage arrays, switches, routers, firewalls, racks, UPS units, structured cabling.

Office equipment: printers, scanners, copiers, multifunction devices, shredders, projectors, conferencing and AV units, IP telephones.

Storage media: hard drives, SSDs, backup tapes, optical media, USB drives, memory cards.

Accessories: keyboards, mice, docking stations, adapters, cables, peripherals — the box of tangled cables in the corner counts, and it is heavier than you think.

Household white goods, air conditioners and industrial plant machinery fall outside our scope. If your clearance includes those, tell us and we will say so rather than surprise you on the day.

Why it costs you nothing

Free pickup is not a promotion. Retired IT equipment contains recoverable materials and, in many cases, resaleable units. That recovered value covers the cost of collection, which is why the collection is free to you and why an authorized recycler will take non-working equipment that a scrap buyer would refuse.

Where the equipment carries meaningful residual value beyond the cost of collection, that value comes back to you through asset recovery or a corporate buyback arrangement. Where it does not, the collection is still free. You are never invoiced for a pickup.

Why businesses use this instead of a scrap dealer

A scrap dealer will collect your old electronics, sometimes pay for them, and leave. There is no record of what left the building, no destruction of the data on the drives inside, and no way to establish where the equipment ended up.

For a household that is fine. For a business it creates two exposures: the data still sitting on those drives, and the absence of any disposal record when your organisation is asked to produce one. Under the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022, bulk consumers are expected to channel end-of-life electronics to an authorized recycler and to be able to demonstrate it.

The practical difference is not the collection. It is what exists afterwards. A documented pickup leaves you with a Certificate of Destruction and a manifest naming the authorized recycler. An informal sale leaves you with cash and a gap.

How to arrange a pickup

  1. Send a rough list. Approximate counts by device type. No inventory project required — "about 40 laptops, 15 desktops, 3 servers, a room of cables" is enough to start.
  2. We confirm scope and schedule. Including any gate pass, service-lift booking or material outward approval your building requires.
  3. We collect, free. Our team packs and loads. You do not need to prepare anything beyond making the equipment accessible.
  4. You receive documentation. Certificate of Destruction and the statutory e-waste manifest.
