E-Waste Collection Drives for Colleges, Societies and Offices in Mumbai.

We plan the day with you, bring the team, handle the data on phones and laptops, and give the organiser a recycling certificate for everything collected. Free in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune.

The short answer

An e-waste collection drive is a scheduled day when a college, housing society or office collects old electronics from its members in one place, and an authorised recycler takes it all away. PrivAce Technologies runs drives across India with free collection in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune. Devices with data are wiped or destroyed first, and the organiser receives a Certificate of E-Waste Recycling for the total collected.

Students bringing old electronics to an e-waste collection desk on a college campus
A campus drive: a collection desk, a weighing scale and separate crates for devices with data.
Residents handing over old electronics at a housing society e-waste collection point in Mumbai
A society drive: one morning, one spot near the gate, everything weighed and listed.

How a drive works

Five steps, one day of effort for you.

  1. Fix a date and a spot. We agree a day, a time window and a collection point with the organiser.
  2. Announce it. We send a poster and a message you can forward to members, listing what is accepted.
  3. Collection day. Our team sets up, accepts items, keeps phones and laptops with data apart, and weighs everything.
  4. Data handled. Devices with storage are wiped or their storage destroyed before reuse or recycling.
  5. Certificate. The organiser receives a Certificate of E-Waste Recycling for the total quantity collected.

  • Printers, routers, modems and set-top boxes
  • Hard drives, pen drives and memory cards
  • Small appliances: mixers, irons, fans, remote controls
