E-Waste Collection Drives for Colleges and Schools.
A campus drive for students and staff, plus a lab clear-out if you need one. Data is destroyed on every device and the college gets a recycling certificate. Free in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and Pune.
A college e-waste drive collects old electronics from students and staff on a fixed day and hands them to an authorised recycler. PrivAce Technologies plans the day, brings the team, keeps devices with data separate and destroys that data, and issues the college a Certificate of E-Waste Recycling for the total collected. Lab computers can be retired in the same visit.
More than a collection bin.
Students carry more data than they think. Old phones hold photos, chats, saved passwords and banking apps. A drive that simply collects phones into a sack moves that problem somewhere else. We keep phones and laptops apart on the day and wipe or destroy their storage before anything is reused or recycled.
Institutions have their own obligations. Lab computers, office desktops and servers hold staff and student records, including data about children in schools. Under the DPDP Act, 2023, anyone under 18 is a child and their data carries extra protections, so retired school and college devices should be erased with a record.
It counts as evidence. Many colleges document e-waste management for accreditation and annual reports. A drive gives you a recycling certificate from an authorised recycler and the quantity collected, and your own dated photographs complete the record.

Questions, answered.
Colleges often use metric 7.1.3 to show how they manage e-waste, supported by bills, agreements or MoUs with authorised recyclers and photographs. A drive gives you dated records and a recycling certificate, and your own photographs of the day add to the file. Check the current NAAC manual for exactly what your assessment asks for.
