Identify your model

How to read an Asus model number.

Asus uses two names for each laptop. The marketing name, such as Vivobook 15 or ExpertBook B1, and the model number on the label, such as X1502ZA or B1400CEAE. The model number is the one that identifies the configuration.

In ExpertBook names, the digit after B shows the tier: B1 and B3 are entry, B5 is mainstream, and B7 and B9 are premium.

The letters at the end of the model number usually indicate the processor platform and graphics, which is why two laptops sold as the same Vivobook can differ a lot inside.

The serial number (S/N) on the label and in the BIOS confirms the exact unit. A list of model and serial numbers helps us prepare the quotation.
