PrivAce Technologies buys used storage systems, including Dell EMC Unity, PowerVault and Isilon, NetApp FAS and AFF, HPE MSA and 3PAR, Hitachi VSP, and Synology and QNAP NAS units. Every drive is wiped or destroyed before any resale. Value depends heavily on drive capacity and support status.
No minimum quantity. Payment before pickup. Data destroyed before resale, with a certificate.

Identify your model
What a storage buyer actually needs from you.
Send the model, the number of controllers and shelves, and the drive count and size. A photo of the front with bezels removed usually tells us most of it.
Support status matters, so tell us whether each system is still under vendor support or eligible for it.
Very large or very new systems can be outside our buying range. When that happens we say so early, and still offer documented decommissioning and destruction.
Inspection

Equipment is inspected before the quotation. These are the things that matter most.

Before pickup
How to prepare the devices.
- Migrate and verify data before decommissioning.
- Remove the array from your hosts and zoning.
- Decide on drives: wipe for resale, or destroy onsite. Arrays hold the most sensitive data in the building.
- List models, serials, drive counts and support contracts.
- Keep shelves, cables and rails together.
