IT Asset Disposal for Schools and Colleges.
Computer labs retiring in batches, office systems with student records, and campus e-waste drives, all with data destroyed and documented.
PrivAce Technologies retires computer labs, office desktops, Chromebooks and servers for schools, colleges and universities across India, and runs campus e-waste collection drives. Every drive is wiped or destroyed with a certificate, and working equipment is paid for before pickup.
Why disposal needs care here.
Lab and office computers hold student records, marks, identity documents and staff files. In schools, much of that belongs to children.
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, anyone under 18 is a child. Processing their data needs verifiable parental consent, and penalties for breaching children’s data obligations reach ₹200 crore. Retired devices that still hold that data are part of the risk.

- DPDP Act, 2023, section 9 (children’s data): A child is anyone under 18. Verifiable parental consent is required, and tracking, behavioural monitoring and targeted advertising aimed at children are prohibited.
- Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and DPDP Rules, 2025: Personal data on a retired device is still your responsibility. Failing to take reasonable security safeguards can attract a penalty of up to ₹250 crore. Most obligations apply from 13 May 2027.
- E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022: Bulk consumers must hand e-waste only to a registered producer, refurbisher or recycler. In force since 1 April 2023.

Questions, answered.
Yes. See college and school e-waste drives for how a campus drive works.
Yes, once they are deprovisioned from the Google Admin console. We erase them or destroy their storage before reuse or recycling.
Colleges often document e-waste management for accreditation. Our recycling certificate gives you evidence from an authorised recycler, alongside your own photographs of the drive.
Working machines are assessed and paid for before pickup. The rest are recycled, with data destroyed first.
