Learn moreOlder Toshiba fleets and newer Dynabook machines bought from offices and individuals, with drives wiped or destroyed before resale.
PrivAce Technologies buys used Toshiba and Dynabook laptops, including Tecra and Portege business models, Satellite Pro and older Satellite machines. Toshiba laptops are now mostly older fleet stock, so many are bought for reuse of parts or recycled. Either way, every drive is wiped or destroyed with a certificate.
No minimum quantity. Payment before pickup. Data destroyed before resale, with a certificate.
| Family | Built for | Examples |
|---|---|---|

| Portege | Premium thin and light | Portege X30, X30W, A30 |
| Satellite Pro | Entry business | Satellite Pro A50, C40, C50, L50 |
| Satellite | Consumer (older) | Satellite C, L and P series |
| Dynabook | Current models under the new name | Dynabook Tecra, Portege and Satellite Pro |
In October 2018 Toshiba transferred a majority of its PC business to Sharp. The business was renamed Dynabook in January 2019, and Sharp bought the remaining shares in June 2020. The Tecra, Portege and Satellite Pro names carried on under the Dynabook brand.
So a laptop badged Toshiba is usually from 2019 or earlier, and a laptop badged Dynabook is newer. Both are bought.
The model name is printed on the label under the laptop, with the serial number. In names such as Tecra A50, the number reflects the screen size: 40 for 14 inch and 50 for 15.6 inch.
Older Toshiba laptops often still have spinning hard drives. Those drives are wiped or shredded before anything else happens.
Equipment is inspected before the quotation. These are the things that matter most.
