Sell Old UPS Units and Batteries: APC, Eaton, Vertiv.

Office and data centre UPS systems collected with their batteries, which are handled separately from other e-waste.

The short answer

PrivAce Technologies collects and buys used UPS systems, from office line-interactive units to rack and modular data centre UPS, from APC, Eaton, Vertiv, Numeric, Microtek and others. Batteries are kept separate from other e-waste because they fall under India’s Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, and are documented on their own line.

No minimum quantity. Payment before pickup for working units. Batteries collected in the same visit.

Why batteries are handled on their own.

India regulates waste batteries under the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, separately from the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2022. So UPS batteries are kept apart from other e-waste in the pickup and listed on their own.

Large battery strings in server rooms are shut down and disconnected with your facility or electrical team before removal. Nothing is disconnected live.

The UPS unit itself, without its batteries, is handled as electronic equipment. Working units can be resold once tested.

Tell us the battery type and count. Lead-acid and lithium-ion batteries are packed and transported differently.
